Flat
Art Photography |
| |
Having photographed thousands
of original two dimensional (flat art)
works, from old master drawings
to priceless impressionist and
contemporary works of art; from
watercolours to vintage film posters
and from philatelic to Picasso
drawings; my experience in flat art
photography means that your
originals will be faithfully reproduced.
By using sophisticated cross
polarization techniques, many difficult
painting surfaces can be rendered
satisfactory, even ones that may
have required a chemical process
being placed upon them in the past.
Where possible all flat art photography
will have Kodak colour and gray scale
patches incorporated within the image
to provide the correct neutrality and
colour balance to your image.
Metropolis movie poster - This is one
of only four known copies, it measures
81x41 inches and is undoubtedly one
of the most desirable original movie
poster art works in the world.
I have obtained the commission by the
Public Catalogue Foundation (PCF) who
have teamed with the National Gallery
to photograph every oil painting held
within public ownership throughout
the UK to produce a nationwide
inventory.
