Flyfishers Club

The Flyfishers’ Club is one of the world’s most interesting and entertaining flyfishing fraternities, with a long tradition of warmth and friendliness. Founded in 1884, the club’s current Members include anglers who fish for all species in all kinds of waters: the young and the old, the famous and the not so famous, and those who simply enjoy flyfishing.

In the course of its history the Club has occupied 13 different premises, including one which was destroyed in the Blitz, and their comfortable rooms are now located above the Savile Club in Brook Street.

AJ Photographics was commissioned to digitise their vast and varied collection and archive of flyfishing paraphernalia and memorabilia as well as the room interiors of the members club.
